SII approval ensures that a product complies with the safety parameters, however, it would only be issued depending on the review of the test report from the accredited laboratory such as CB report, but often it requires an in-country testing.
The Ministry of Economy (MoE) provides exemption to the equipment from SII certification depending on EMC and safety test reports to the international standards.
