Service Overview

What is NCMC Certification?

NCMC certification is conformity testing of cards and automatic fare collection (AFC) terminals and systems against the NCMC interface specification (version 1.2, Parts IV to VII), ensuring interoperability across transport operators and banks. Certification is managed by the NCMC Certification Scheme at STQC Directorate.

Documents include the application to the scheme with product details, test reports or evidence from NCMC test suites and compliant NCMC cards for terminal testing, product documentation and interface specification compliance details and fee. Third-party test tool vendors provide test suites and compliant cards, and STQC performs final certification.
