What is Website Quality Certification?
Website quality certification is a third-party evaluation that a website meets quality requirements such as usability, accessibility, content, security and compliance with GIGW 3.0. For security, STQC’s scheme refers to security audits by CERT-In empanelled test laboratories, network security and web application security. An organisation certified for ISMS, QMS or ITSM may mention it in the application.
Documents include the application (STQC/WQCS/F01), certification agreement, Website Quality Manual, website URL, hosting and CMS details, ISMS certificates for the data centre where relevant, security audit report from a CERT-In empanelled lab and charges payable on receipt of the invoice.
