What is e-Procurement (ePS)?
An e-procurement system certificate states that an e-tendering or auction application and its deployment infrastructure have been reviewed, tested and audited for functional correctness, security including penetration testing and storage security, performance and procedural compliance. Certification uses a Statement of Conformity, and the system must use Class 3 digital certificates for signing and encryption.
Documents include the EPS application form (STQC-IT/EPS/FM-01) and certification agreement, product nomenclature, version and release, production and test URLs, application security test report from STQC lab or CERT-In empanelled agency, VAPT and network security assessment, system documentation, GFR and CVC compliance checklist, impact-analysis format for changes and charges. Re-certification should be applied 3 to 4 months before expiry.
