For the S-Mark, pick the IEC safety standard for your product, gather test reports (or an IECEE CB report and certificate), and prepare the factory and quality system documents. Apply to STQC Certification Services with the application and fee. STQC may inspect the factory and test the product, then issues the certificate and licence for the mark. Planning checklist: use CB reports to avoid repeat testing, keep your quality system up to date, plan surveillance and renewal and confirm validity terms with STQC since a secondary source mentions three years with annual monitoring.
